Eligibility
The T&M Program is open to freshmen majoring in:
- Gies College of Business – all majors
- The Grainger College of Engineering – all majors
- Agricultural and Biological Engineering (College of ACES)
- Chemical Engineering (College of LAS)
* Are you a transfer student? Apply between July 15th and August 15th.

Selection criteria
We look for students who:
- Can balance 22 additional credit hours of rigorous coursework
- Show strong commitment, curiosity, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in collaboration across disciplines
- Understand the demands and structure of the T&M Program
How to apply
You'll complete an online application that includes:
- Short essays about academic background, extracurricular involvement, and career goals
- A statement explaining why you want to join the T&M Program
- An interview with the program director/coordinator
Final decisions are announced in late May. Virtual orientation sessions will be scheduled for the new cohort over the Summer.
