Hallene Lecture Series

The Hallene Lecture Series offers a singular platform where Hoeft T&M students and the broader University of Illinois community engage with executives from our Corporate Affiliates. Each lecture delves into current frontiers of business and technology, spotlighting innovation in real time.

Established through a generous gift from the MacArthur Foundation, the Hallene Lecture honors Alan M. Hallene (’51), a distinguished alumnus and longtime contributor to the University’s leadership. The series both commemorates Hallene’s impact and continues his belief in the power of connection between business leadership and academia.

  • Industry Relevance: Lectures brought by affiliate executives spotlight emerging trends and real-world applications.
  • Student Impact: Students gain firsthand exposure to leadership thinking and innovation strategy.
  • Community Access: These events strengthen links between campus and industry, showcasing how technology can serve societal needs.
