 izational theorist and business strategy scholar. He is well-known for his
  interdisciplinary approach to strategic organizational research and educa
 tion. He has an unparalleled reputation as a pioneering theoretical thinke
 r who can translate his scholarly work to make it accessible to leaders of
  global corporations. His award-winning book\, The Institutional Logics Pe
 rspective: A New Approach to Culture\, Structure\, and Process (co-authore
 d with Patricia H. Thornton and Michael Lounsbury) is the most cited work 
 in the field.\n\nAt Illinois\, William also serves as the director of the 
 Illinois Strategic Organizations Initiative (ISOI). ISOI addresses unmet d
